The leaves are starting to change, the days are getting shorter and cooler, and it’s time for the CND Wild Romantics collection! CND always bring out the most gorgeous shades each season, but the autumn range always stands out. This year, the CND Wild Romantics collection is celebrating “freedom, love and nature.”
CND Co-Founder Jan Arnold says “This season, we are celebrating our inner spiritual freedom, bringing forth a deeper appreciation for the small moments of serenity we find in nature.” And I could say that about myself over the last 18 months and my new found love of being in the garden. I’ve been dying to show you the shades in action, because there are a couple of them that I know are going to be in constant rotation this season.
CND Wild Romantics Collection
CND Wrapped in Linen
Wrapped in Linen is one for the neutral lovers, who love a classic, understated nail. The photo above shows two coats, with no topcoat. Can you imagine this with a colourful French tip?
CND Soft Flame
Soft Flame is the complete opposite to Wrapped in Linen. It’s described as a sophisticated terracotta, but on me, it’s definitely more on the red/pink end of the spectrum. It’s bright, in your face, and is the perfect pop of colour this autumn.
CND Verbena Velvet
I grew verbena from seed this year and it was one of my favourite things to grow! And Verbena Velvet is one of my favourite shades of this collection. This jewel-toned violet is deep, mysterious and ideal for those who love darker nails in the autumn, but don’t want to go for a black shade. Stunning.
CND Candlelight
Candlelight is described as a goldenrod yellow. I don’t know what a goldenrod is, and I am also afraid to google it. To me, it’s a rich, mustardy yellow that’s completely different to any other shades in my collection.
CND Books & Beaujolais
Books & Beaujolais is described as a deep barn red and that’s the perfect description of it! The photo above shows one coat and you can see how opaque it is. And as for that shine? You can see the camera in the reflection! I love wearing reds during autumn and winter and this is a beaut.
CND Wooded Bliss
Wooded Bliss is another of my favourite shades from the Wild Romantics collection. This is a rich, pink-toned mauve and if you’re someone who loves a dusky pink shade, then this is worth checking out!
